CO₂ Monitors

Secure Cooling Units

The move to CO₂ refrigerants in cooling systems brings with it great advantages of restoring the ozone layer, lowering global warming and reducing costs. However if significant leaks occur, CO₂ can lead to sever health or deadly consequences. For this reason Inamata has developed the Tiaki CO₂ Monitor, a simple to install Wi-Fi and LTE-enabled monitoring unit. In case of leaks, relays can instantly shut off cooling units and inform technicians. This allows existing cooling units to quickly be retrofitted to comply with new regulations.

For advanced applications, the connected devices can also remotely monitor the temperature levels of valves. This is a common indicator before system failure and allows compressors and other system components to be saved. This proactive measure can save thousands of dollars in repair costs.

The Tiaki CO₂ monitors are easy to setup. They require only a power socket and are wall-mountable. Optionally, Wi-Fi or LTE can be configured with an app to send live data and alarms. The data from all your deployed devices can be viewed in an online dashboard on your phone or computer. With notification groups, ensure that the local technicians are informed to promptly fix the cooling system.

We will help you plan your deployment and can also set up the systems in select regions. Alternatively, setup the devices yourself with only a phone or laptop.

Monitor CO₂ Cooling Units

Monitor CO₂ Cooling Units

Use Inamata’s dashboards to keep an overview of the cooling units throughout your premises and between locations. Observe trends developing and compare levels today to those from last year. If they look problematic, take preemptive action before consequences arise.

Follow up on implemented fixes to verify that they actually solve the problem source. Furthermore, this will also help ensure that the fix is does not erode over time.

For regulatory purposes, generate monthly or yearly reports to prove compliance. This can also be useful retroactively in case of litigation that requires proof of adherence to local safety laws.

Deployment & Complaince

The cost of a deployment is a combination of the Tiaki CO₂ monitors and an Inamata subscription. For example, a small deployment that does not require historical data storage can use our free plan. Also included is the app that allows provisioning devices and configuring alarms to adhere to local regulations

We provide local support in central Europe, South Africa, Sri Lanka and Malaysia.

Alternatively, larger deployments should take advantage of our small or medium plan that will allow levels to be compared month over month and year over year. This is useful to have a reference of the measured data as well as for compliance purposes. In addition, we will also help you plan your deployment to reach the best result.

The device has presets to enable compliance with local and international regulations. These include the US OSHA, the British COSHH and the EU-OSHA.
