Enduring Data Logger
Reliable Everywhere
Environmental and building monitoring often requires reliable data collection in locations where reception is poor and power access is limited. To meet this need, Inamata developed the Enduring Data Logger — a weatherproof, battery-powered device with an operating life of up to five years. With built-in NB-IoT connectivity, it can be deployed virtually anywhere to continuously record digital and analog inputs.
To enable flexible deployment, the Enduring Data Logger supports two analog input channels and an bus interface for advanced sensing peripherals. To simplify sensor operation, it can supply connected devices with 12 V power directly. All this results in a compact, self-sufficient package that minimizes installation effort, reduces maintenance, and ensures reliable long-term data collection even in remote or hard-to-reach locations.

The Enduring Data Logger connects to sensors for temperature, humidity, pressure, and water flow, enabling precise monitoring across environmental and industrial applications.
Monitor Anywhere
Use Inamata’s dashboards to maintain an overview of environmental and building conditions across your sites and installations. Track sensor readings and system states over time, compare current measurements with historical data, and identify deviations early. When irregular trends emerge, take corrective action before they impact operations or equipment integrity.
For regulatory purposes, generate monthly or yearly reports to document compliance. These records can also serve as evidence in case of audits or litigation, providing proof of adherence to safety requirements.
Comparing NB-iot
LoRaWAN and Sigfox led the adoption of low-power wide area networks (LPWAN) but have since then been surpassed by the rollout of NB-IoT, an LTE-based radio technology. NB-IoT’s reliability is unmatched and especially felt in basements.
Other aspects that also favor NB-IoT include the quality of transmission, coverage, energy efficiency, security and future viability. These derive from the reuse of existing LTE infrastructure, a greater link budget and higher data rates. Additionally, the eDRX and PSM power saving mechanisms further increase battery life.
